Auto Policies come in all sizes and limits but in some ways they are all created equal if you read the language.
The most common and mandatory coverage: The liability limits: Bodily Injury Liability/Accident Liability/Property Liability and they will be followed up by $ limits associated with them. These are the limits that cover OTHERS, not yourself. You may have the state minimum (in CT it is $25,000 per person/$50,000 per accident/$25,000 for Property) or you are a Rockstar and have higher limits to protect yourself and others at $100,000/$300,000 or even better at $250,000/$500,000.
